The long-awaited consultation on the main modifications to Calderdale’s local plan finally started on Friday 12 August.

Like most of the other consultations, this is also being undertaken during the school holiday period; however, this time, Calderdale has been pushed into extending the statutory minimum period largely because one political party objected to the previous duration.

We are working with the CVNF to produce another set of ‘questions to consider’ to help you respond to this consultation – these will be published on the village website by the end of August.
