– Friday 30 September at 13:28, news just reached us that the Department for Education advised Calderdale Council in early August that the free school would not be funded. This and the news that cash-strapped West Yorkshire Combined Authority will review all business cases not already at the full business case stage (this means the A641 project is at risk/may not be funded as previously announced) has required more evidence from Calderdale Council.
We’ll provide more information once we have reviewed the implications for the note, but this admission means the consultation has now been extended by another two weeks to Friday 21st October.
